A couples dive down to the gorgeous Fortesque Bay dive site. Launching off from the rocky point about 100m along the walking track, this dive takes you though a recovering Giant Kelp Forest, filled with interesting fish life!
The weather was perfect, and even though the visibility was average at around 6m, we took advantage of being able to lay mid water, looing up at the sun rays shining through the kelp.
The last picture of this set is hard to make out, but it was taken from the surface looking down at the seafloor about 6m deep, and if you look closely you can see the white back of a MASSIVE smooth ray. This bad boy was about as big as a car and I wouldn't dream of diving under and waking him...
