:: Piersons Point - January 2009

From what originally began as a hunting mission for what has been the elusive southern rocklobster this year, a group of 4 divers dropped in on some of the best kept reef life around Tasmania's coastline.

Giant Kelp seedlings helped create ground cover for an array of fish life, amazing soft coral formations, and a 2m high wall against the coastline that I swear I saw a few nudies on!

Piersons Point is a great dive for all ages and qualifications. And being so close to Kingston beach (less that 15 minute boat ride), it is a great spot for a lazy Sunday afternoon dive.
