SUMMARY:Troy D and Three Sleeve Wonder - Apr 2026
DESCRIPTION:The 55m former hopper barge the 'Troy D' was scuttled in 2007 
 in Mercury Passage. There is full access to every compartment offering fas
 cinating diving opportunities to explore the engine room and other areas. 
 The bottom of the boat sits at a max depth of 24m\, if you stay on the wr
 eck you can stay above the 18m limit for open water divers - so all diver
 s welcome.\n\nThe Troy D is a 15 mins boat ride from Triabunna\, 1km off t
 he coast of Maria Island.\n\nNothing is more exciting than a new Dive Site
  ! Especially when it is so epic\, you dive thru colorful gullys and caves
  filled with marine life (think loads of boarfish\, cuttlefish and parrotf
 ish). You will probably reach the pinnacle of diving euphoria when you see
  the "three sleeve wonder" a swim through that goes in three different dir
 ections with several of chambers to its sides. All that surrounded by beau
 tiful clear blue waters off pristine Maria Island.\n\nThere are plenty of 
 cracks and nooks too look into so don't forget a torch !\n\nDive is open w
 ater. Divers will need to be comfortable decending on a shot line and free
  water accent\n\nMeeting at Dive Sheds\, Olinda Grove Sports Grounds 7am a
 nd launching from Triabunna\n\nUse of club Regs\, BCD and weights are incl
 uded in the cost of the dive if needed\, you will need your own wetsuit\, 
 fins and mask.\n\nAnyone unwell must not attending club events.
