Come for an easy midday dive in Melrose Quarry, a flooded freshwater quarry about an hour and a half northwest of Launceston located at the Lakeside Tourist Caravan Park: https://goo.gl/maps/Cfipg94d3skcMeCW6
Max depth of the quarry is about 12m and is easily accessible from the banks. There are some cool finds down there, including mining equipment, old VW bugs, and more to be found with every dive. Just remember to bring your gloves as there may be some sharp/rusty objects down there too, and keep in mind that you will be less buoyant in freshwater 🙂 A torch is also a good idea. Suitable for all diver levels.
We’ll aim to jump in at 12pm Sunday the 23rd, so meet at the northern sheds at 9:45am to hire gear and carpool. Tickets are $5 extra as it costs $5 per person for entry into the caravan park.

Refunds
Refunds are at the Dive Coordinator's discretion however the following guidelines apply to normal events:
Cancellation where a replacement diver is found: 100% refund
No show or cancellation with less than 48 Hours notice: 0% refund
Cancellation with greater than 48 Hours but less than a week's notice: 50% refund
Cancellation with greater than a week's notice: 100% refund
