Dive for a Cure is an amazing experience in memory of respected member of the Tasmanian diving community Phil Malkin, who died of leukaemia. Continue his legacy by celebrating his joy of diving.

10:00am Divers are to meet at The Break Wall – Shore dive to “The Rock” Tassies best shore dive.
10:30am Dive
12:00pm BBQ, coffee, silent auction, raffle
12:30pm Swim events ($5 per person)

Phil’s Dive for a Cure is a fundraising event in memory of a well respected member of the Tasmanian Dive community and family man Phil Malkin. Phil passed away to ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) after a very courageous and honourable 3 and half fight with blood cancer.
Phil’s final wish was to hold an event to raise the much needed funds for the LF in gratitude for the continued and dedicated support received by Phil and his family throughout the battle. This year Phil’s two young children Charlea and Beau alongside wife Tach will continue his legacy by participating in his last wish – “Phil’s Dive for a cure”. The event will encompass a Dive, paddle and swim with the Dive to be lead by 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son.
Our goal is to raise vital funds that will be used by the Leukaemia Foundation in gratitude for the continued and dedicated support received by Phil, his family and all those families as they go through their battle with blood cancer.

Refunds
Refunds are at the Dive Coordinator's discretion however the following guidelines apply to normal events:
Cancellation where a replacement diver is found: 100% refund
No show or cancellation with less than 48 Hours notice: 0% refund
Cancellation with greater than 48 Hours but less than a week's notice: 50% refund
Cancellation with greater than a week's notice: 100% refund
