Come for a splash at one of TUDC’s old favourite sites, Blackmans bay is an easy dive, relatively shallow dive 3-10m so good buoyancy control is preferable, local residents include weedy sea dragons, octopus, dumping quid, common squid, the brightly coloured cow fish, goat fish, sea horses, velvet crabs, hermit crabs, draughtboard sharks and all types of rays and other fishy friends.
Last time we visited here we had a great show of underwater life + the milky way + blue bio luminescent dinoflagellates!
If you do need gear, meet at the dive shed at 6.00pm
If you don’t need gear, meet at Northern end of Blackmans bay beach (on Talone Rd) at 7.00pm
