We will be cleaning up again for Clean Up Australia Day! After a successful mission in Bellerive, we are venturing back across the river to the Regatta Grounds.

This is a free dive for members – For membership go here: 2021 Membership | Tas Uni Dive Club

During an exploratory dive in mid-2020 a significant amount of marine debris was confirmed here; post the 2021 holiday we’re expecting more.

On Saturday 20th February 2021, we’ll have a lot of surface support from UTAS students and volunteers completing their ‘day of service’ (~15 people)

We need divers to come and help clean up this corner of our Derwent, the more the merrier (likely to have 2 or 3 boats operating)

Please register so we know you’re coming and the gear you need.

Anyone unwell must not attending club events.
Club dive gear to be washed with approve solution at the end of dive.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the dive.
Please maintain social distancing of 1.5m wherever possible during the event.
