Easy beach access to the water with tables and beaches to easily gear up.
Guaranteed to see crayfish a plenty!!!
We will follow an outlet pipe that goes far into the derwent, seeing things such as schooling fish, sponges, draughtboard sharks and crayfish. Lots of crayfish.
This is a marine reserve, so its a great opportunity to see a pristine temperate water reef thriving close to Hobart.
We will meet at the dive site at 18:30, if you require gear I will bring it along with me.
If you need gear and/or a tank it’s $15. Club has some torches available but you will need to provide 4x D-Cell batteries.
If you have all your own gear including tanks, the dive is free but please register so we know numbers.
