With weather this good we can’t not go diving…
Iron Pot is a small flat sandstone island at the entrance to the Derwent river. It is part of the Betsey Island Group.
There are many breeding seabird and the wader species are little penguin, Pacific gull, silver gull, pied oystercatcher and black-faced cormorant.
“The Iron Pot” hosts the second oldest lighthouse built in Australia and is the oldest original tower in Australia.
A great dive close to Hobart. Depths of 2-12m this is an excellent dive for any diver.
Meeting at the Olinda Grove dive shed at 9am we’ll head down to Margate to launch the boats and head over to IronPot
