Lake Dobson lies within Mt Field National Park, an hours drive NW of Hobart. It is a fresh water lake at altitude surrounded by some beautiful alpine habitat. This dive will be purely experimental for experienced advanced divers only. The water will be cold (drysuit required minimum) and most likely dark with low visibility (depth unknown). Come along if you feel up for a challenge, or feel like something a bit different. It will be an ‘experience’ if nothing else 😉
Here is some quick info about the area: http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/file.aspx?id=28144
Carpooling there is an option too, given the distance. Parks pass will be required if taking your own car.
