Another on the adventure list, a long over due trip to lake st clair, Australia’s deepest fresh water lake at 160 meters deep (although we will be sticking to our skill depths 😉 ) , Tasmania really has it all
although the conditions are hopefully good, we must be prepared for the worst , there is potential to be very cold water, and proper low visibility , so for these reasons it will be an advanced dive only, this time round at least, dry suit and a torch highly recommended, but please dive within your means,
its going to be around a 3 hour drive each way, so we will carpool as much as possible, i will be towing the trailer for the tanks and gear. and will have 3 spare seats, 4 if we get desperate, we will take an eskie for luches and a jetboil for basic hot drinks, BYO mugs and fancy tea’s
below is a link to some mainland divers footage that came down to tas to dive the lake, keep in mind that this footage is 9!! years old, and the videos quality wasn’t as good back then, going by that we should hopefully have some amazing visibility, fingers and fins crossed!
bookings will close thursday the 31st of January 11am
we will meet at the dive shed at 6:45am (sunday 3rd of feb) to load up and get running
