Join the TUDC for a mid week dive at the Melrose Quarry.
Meet at the TUDC north dive shed at 10am and head out as a group from there.
The Melrose Quarry is a freshwater reservoir that used to be a sandstone mine for the Devonport area, after the mine was abandoned many decades ago it filled with fresh water. There is still some old mining relics on the bottom as well as some old cars and a sunken row boat. If your lucky you may even find the quarry push bike and take it for a ride.
This is a good dive to give your gear a good freshwater washout and is usually a lot of fun.
Bring $5 to pitch in for fuel money if you want to carpool.
See you bubbling soon.
