We’re going to head out to for Scallops and then see if we can find some handfish.
Both sites are a ‘little bit secret’, we’ll be meeting a the dive shed at 7.30am, loading up, heading to Lewisham and heading down the Tasman Peninsular to get our Scallops. Once we’re finished we’re heading back past two locations to see if we can find some handfish populations – these are locations they were seen previously but there hasn’t been any surveys in a while.
We’ll need to collect GPS and photos – so divers with cameras will be useful. FYI – handfish hunts aren’t ‘scenic’ dives – will be similar to Sandy Bay… it’s what they like.
These dives will be easy open water dives.
You’ll need a recreational scallop license to get scallops.

Refunds
Refunds are at the Dive Coordinator's discretion however the following guidelines apply to normal events:
Cancellation where a replacement diver is found: 100% refund
No show or cancellation with less than 48 Hours notice: 0% refund
Cancellation with greater than 48 Hours but less than a week's notice: 50% refund
Cancellation with greater than a week's notice: 100% refund
