UPDATED – due to the Winds we’re heading to North Maria (launch from Orford) instead of the Friars.

The Friars is an incredibly scenic dive site off the south of Bruny Island which we last dived a few years ago. The Friars are four steep dolerite rocks which are part of the Actaeon Island Group. Some spectacular diving and a huge variety of marine life in a very remote location (40km boat ride!).

The site is exposed and current prone so an SMB and confidence are required.

This dive is very weather dependent but we have numerous alternatives if the weather doesn’t play nice.

Water and surface interval lollies will be provided!

There are sites available for Open Water divers however due the exposed nature of the dive you will require 20+ dives.

There will be a long boat trip so bring warm clothes for the trip.

Meeting @ 7AM at the Olinda Grove Dive shed.
