One of the best shore dives in the Tamar river, stepping strait off from the car park we can bottom out at around 50 metres, you need to be an experienced diver and know how to dive the channel here because if you jump in to early you can find yourself battling the currents trying to return to where you dropped in.

Meeting at the Monument at around 12.45pm allowing time to say hello and gear up, jumping into the water at approx 1.15pm maybe a few minutes later and going with the flow of the tide along the beautiful sponge wall.

Would recommend that anyone doing this dive still bring  torch (we have some in the shed if needed) and capable of swimming with strong currents.
