Last time we dived under the Tasman bridge we discovered an excellent, slightly eerie, surprisingly full of life deep shore dive.
There were massive, and I mean MASSIVE crayfish (not for eating though) perched on the bridge pilons, some colourful, larger than normal jewel anemones growing on bridge rubble and a few colonies of reef fish. All in green murky waters.
This will be an advanced dive only, preferably with at least 5 Tassie dives. There is potential for strong current, entanglement in debris, boat traffic and more risk with the depth you can reach in a matter of minutes.
Time of dive will be decided closer to date when tide times are known so we can dive in slack water. We’ll set up and hop in from the eastern shore.
A torch and back up torch will be needed. Please contact for any questions.
cheers,
