Heading to White Beach to fill my fridge for the last weekend of cray season. Trojan is still out of action, so we’ll be taking Thumper.
You do not need a fishing licence to come on this trip, not everyone will be chasing a feed. A licence is essential if you are going to be harvesting scallops, abalone and/or crayfish, details can be found here: https://dpipwe.tas.gov.au/sea-fishing-aquaculture/recreational-fishing/recreational-sea-fishing-licences
We will be meeting Saturday 30th April at the Dive Shed at 6.30am, driving to Nubeena to launch the boat. Early start as it is a long drive down there.
There can be a bit of swell in this area, and we will be on a boat so please consider your own safety and prepare accordingly. Wind is forecasted onshore, but not too strong at this stage.
Anyone unwell must not attend club events.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the dive.
Please maintain social distancing of 1.5m wherever possible during the event.
