We will hopefully find and dive on the 440 tonne barque the Katherine Shearer. The story goes her mast got blown some distance in shore in during her violent and dramatic demise. This is a first dive on the wreck for the club so we will requiring divers to have Advanced Open Water or equivalent. We’re also limiting numbers on this trip to 8 divers (taking only Trojan).
First in best dressed. The second dive to be advised but might be speculative, to find fresh dive sites – possible diving a Giant Kelp forest. Patient yet adventurous spirits welcome. You never know what your gonna get!!
Use of club Regs, BCD and weights are included in the cost of the dive if needed, you will need your own wetsuit, fins and mask.
