TUDC, LET’S CLEAN UP! TUESDAY FEBRUARY 21st 5.30PM – 9PM
Lifting bikes, chairs, bottles is all part and parcel of a Clean-up Dive in the Hobart Docks! The odd witches hat, shopping trolley, wallet, phone and sunglasses usually find their way into the water during festivities over Christmas and New Year; this dive always produces a haul.
This year we’ve cleaning up between Elizabeth St Pier and Princes Wharf No. 1 – including the Brooke St Pier – We’ve worked with the Mona Ferry to dive when they aren’t running. Sure to be lots to find there!
Veolia are providing skip bins, the Media will also be there being snap happy; we stand to see our mugs pop up around the place 😉 The more exposure we can get the better!
This is a no-cost event; we need all the divers we can get, to make the best difference we can!
ALL MEMBERS WELCOME!
Family and Friends welcome to come along for a look and help pull haul some rubbish.
Free transport for Northern members to come down for the dive!
