One of the best shore dives in the Tamar river, stepping strait off from the car park we can bottom out at around 50 metres, you need to be an experienced diver and know how to dive the channel here because if you jump in to early you can find yourself battling the currents trying to return to where you dropped in.
That is of course why you should come dive with the TUDC crew this Saturday. meeting at the Monument at around 4pm allowing time to say hello and gear up, jumping into the water at approx 4.30 maybe a few minutes later and going with the flow of the tide along the beautiful sponge wall. this truely is and amazing dive and even better at night once you’ve built your confidence up a bit.
would recommend that anyone doing this dive still bring torch and capable of swimming with strong currents.
